You scored as Aquarius. You get along best with the sign of Aquarius. Although Aquarians can be seem very odd, or over opinionated, they are good generous people. They are the humanitarians of the zodiac; they always put others in the place of themselves. Aquarians have a strong sense of individuality, and likewise, can be very eccentric. They usually have many friends because they are very easy to get along with, although at times, Aquarians can be withdrawn and introverted when they choose to be.

Hold My Hand

  • Feb. 17th, 2006 at 9:40 AM

" A little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,
"Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river."
The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand."
"What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father..

"There's a big difference," replied the little girl.
"If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go."

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond. So hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expecting them to hold yours..."

many thoughts went through my mind lately...

i do not know if it's good or bad...

quite agree with the little girl's reply...

if i were to hold someone's hand... if i were to fall, i will let go of the person's hand...
but if someone is holding my hand... i know even if i fall, there will be someone holding onto me...

thus, for the time being... i wish and hope...
for you guys, to hold my hand...

thanks..

明目张胆 - 何韵诗

  • Feb. 6th, 2006 at 11:59 AM

A very close girlfriend of mine (Cheryl) ever introduced this song to me...
That time when i listened to the song, "hmmm, nice song" and looked at the lyrics, "what a painful way to love someone..."

never thought i would love someone like this too...
i can relate to this verse very very well...

"若有一天公开, 明目张胆的爱, 我怕会让你太意外.
我的爱,只愿缩到最小,仿佛不存在.
就算我最爱你,情愿好好遮盖,化作了密码,不公开."

DONG DONG!!!
that's really how i feel lor...
and i believe someone out there, shares the feeling too...
right? *wink*

good song must share....

LYRICS

A SOULFUL RELATIONSHIP by Ronald McFadden

  • Feb. 4th, 2006 at 10:00 AM

If you're not attached , share this with a friend. If you are attached, share it with your spouse or other couples and reflect on it.

An African proverb states, "Before you get attached, keep both eyes open, and after you are attached, close one eye."

Before you get involved and make a commitment to someone, don't let lust, desperation, immaturity, ignorance, pressure from others or a low self-esteem, make you blind to warning signs.

Keep your eyes open, and don't fool yourself that you can change someone or that what you see as faults aren't really important.

Once you decide to commit to someone, over time her flaws, vulnerabilities, pet peeves, and differences will become more obvious.

If you love your mate and want the relationship to grow and evolve, you've got to learn to close one eye and not let every little thing bother you.

You and your mate have many different expectations, emotional needs, values, dreams, weaknesses, and strengths.

Neither of you are perfect, but are you perfect for each other? Do you bring out the best in each other? Do you compliment and compromise with each other, or do you compete, compare, and control?

What do you bring to the relationship? Do you bring past relationships, past hurt, past mistrust, past pain?

You can't take someone to the altar to alter him or her. You can't make someone love you or make someone stay.

If you develop self-esteem, spiritual discernment, and "a life", you won't find yourself making someone else responsible for your happiness or responsible for your pain.

Manipulation, control, jealousy, neediness, and selfishness are not the ingredients of a thriving, healthy, loving and lasting relationship!

Seeking status, sex, wealth, and security are the wrong reasons to be in a relationship.

What keeps a relationship strong?
Communication, intimacy, trust, a sense of humor, sharing household tasks, some getaway time without business or children and daily exchanges (a meal, shared activity, a hug, a call, a touch, a note). Leave a nice message on the voicemail or send a nice email (Dont we ALL wish !!??!!)

Sharing common goals and interests. Growth is important. Grow together, not away from each other, giving each other space to grow without feeling insecure. Allow your mate to have outside interest.
You can't always be together. Give each other a sense of belonging and assurances of commitment.

Don't try to control one another. Learn each other's family situation. Respect her parents regardless! Don't put pressure on each other for material goods.

Remember for richer or for poorer. If these qualities are missing, the relationship will erode as resentment, withdrawal, abuse, neglect, dishonesty, and pain replace the passion.

THE TONGUE

  • Feb. 3rd, 2006 at 3:23 PM

It is a helpful tool.
That is used as a dangerous weapon.

It is so light.
Yet we fail to hold it.

Instead of using it as a magic wand to tap a bit of encouragement upon one’s heart or a smile upon one’s face. We use it as a sword to cut people down leaving their hearts broken and their self-esteem low.

Instead of using it to turn ourselves into little angels placing blessings upon one’s life.
We use it to turn ourselves into fire-breathing dragons who insists on one’s life being taken.

We use it to curse others not realizing we are really cursing ourselves.
We must learn to hold this dangerous weapon before we kill others as well as ourselves.

We must learn to watch the words that we allow to roll off of it.

We must allow it to be known as a piece of gold from heaven, instead of the flames from hell.

DZI BEADS PART I

  • Feb. 1st, 2006 at 10:21 AM

Tibetan Dzi Bead - Dzi, pronouce as "Gzi", "Zi" or "Zee", is the Tibetan word to describe this unusual unique bead. Tibetan Dzi Bead, can be concluded that it's their living gemstone since many thousands year ago. They were believed to have originated around 2000 B.C., an era in Tibet that used to practice the religion where shamanism and sorcery were present. Dzi Bead was believed to be able to guard against misfortune & bring blessing, health & bliss to the wearer.

It is believed ancient Dzi Bead is a God's treasure & has been descended to earth since many thousands years ago. Subsequently Dzi Bead has been named as the "Heavenly Bead" (in Chinese) by Tibetans.

Dzi Bead Possesses Strong Magnetic Energy
Based on scientific research, ancient Dzi bead contain 14 elements from Mars. Dzi Bead measuring a hardness of around 6.5-7 on the Moe's scale, only 3 points lower than natural South African Diamonds and sometimes surpassing the hardness levels of natural crystals, sapphires, emeralds and jadeites. Dzi Bead also demonstrates the magnetic wave of approximately 12 volts, which is 2 to 3 times more than other mineral, such as crystal & sapphires. This gentle magnetic wave can help to promote a better blood circulation & to prevent illnesses if such magnetic field's element is placed in touch with human body. This is also known as magnetic field therapy.

How to feel the Dzi Bead Energy
If you own a pure Dzi Bead, you may hold it with your thumb & your forefinger at both end of the Dzi Bead. Now concentrate your mind to feel the sensation at both end of your fingers' tip. Within a minute or two, you will feel the vibration of its magnetic wave, with a tingling sensation at both end of your fingers tips (thumb & forefinger). This experiment can be carried out by anyone. It is fun & you have to try it yourself if you have a pure ancient Dzi Bead too...

Eliminate Negative Forces And Danger
Dzi beads having the strong positive energy will also help one to be alert and to eliminate negative forces thereby reducing the level of danger one may encounter.

Dzi Beads • A Good Investment
Genuine Tibetan antique dzi beads are very rare as its quantities are limited Unlike many precious stones where the quantities maybe unlimited, Dzi beads are considered as antique as through the passage of time, many beads were broken or went missing. Thus, with the constant increase in demand from all over the world and limited in supply, the prices of the antique dzi beads tend to appreciate with time making it an ideal investment.

Positive Energy • Positive Attitude
Dzi, with its strong positive magnetic force, will enable a person to develop a positive attitude towards life. This is especially important during bad times like these couple of years, where one tends to be overly negative in thoughts and process. With the help from the strong positive energy, it will help one to concentrate, and increase one’s personal courage and confidence.

Dzi Beads • Scientific Analysis
According to some scientific analysis conducted by the Japanese scientists, they found that the Tibetan dzi beads contain 14 different elements found only in Meteorites. Secondly, the Dzi beads have a magnetic force of 13 watts while Crystals have a magnetic force of only 4 watts (3 times that of the crystals).

Dzi Beads • Promote Good Health
With its strong magnetic force, the dzi beads are able to promote the healthy circulation of blood flow in the body. This will aid in the normalisation of a person’s blood pressure (reducing the risk of getting stroke) and is ideal for one who does not have the time for regular exercise.

Differentiation between New Dzi Beads versus Old Beads
Antique dzi beads have gone through the hands of several generations. And thus, one of the easiest ways for one to differentiate the old dzi versus the newly produced dzi is the presence of ‘red’ dots. Moreover, the old dzi beads have a natural ‘oil’ finish and special texture.

Owning an antique dzi is a blessing! It will enhance your health and bring you luck and prosperity!

In my next posting, i will show the different types of dzi beads...

HOW YOU UNDRESS... REVEALS YOUR PERSONALITY

  • Jan. 27th, 2006 at 9:34 AM

*** Which type are you? ***

HAPHAZARD UNDRESSER
If you throw your clothes all over the house, you are a friendly, life-of-the-party type.
You are: free with your thoughts and opinions, not caring much about what others think of you.

METICULOUS UNDRESSER
If you remove each piece of clothing and put it away carefully, you are a serious person who likes life very calm.
You are: comfortable with routine and you believe that the best way to deal with life's problems is to prevent them in the first place.

SHOES AND SOCKS FIRST UNDRESSER
You methodically remove your shoes and socks before you begin undressing.
You are: a perfectionist, a bit shy, observant, dependable, intense and think before making decisions. You go about your tasks methodically, with concentration. You know how to pay attention.

SLOW UNDRESSER
You take off the shirt and ten minutes later get around to taking off your pants or skirt.
You are: extremely self-confident, intellectual, a deep thinker and don't like to be hassled. Usually you like a lot of free time for yourself.

FAST UNDRESSER
You get out of your clothes as quickly as possible.
You are: concerned about others and what they expect from you but you're worried about your own needs. You are family-oriented and stay extremely busy.

JEWELRY OFF FIRST UNDRESSER
You take off your rings, watch, etc. before anything else.
You are: warm, thoughtful, sensitive and romantic.

NEVER THE SAME WAY UNDRESSER
You never undress the same way twice.
You are: a very curious, interesting person and you enjoy a broad range of activities. You take risks and enjoy fun and adventure.

1. When someone lies to you, it teaches you that things are not always as they seem. The truth is often far beneath the surface. Look beyond the masks people wear if you want to know their heart. And remove your own masks to let people know yours.

2. When someone steals from you it teaches you that nothing is forever. Always appreciate what you have, for you never know when you might lose it. And never, ever take your friends and family for granted because today is the only guarantee you have.

3. When someone inflicts an injury upon you, it teaches you that the human state is a fragile one. Protect and take care of your body as best as you can, it's the only thing you are sure to have here on earth.

4. When someone mocks you, it teaches you that no two people are alike.

5. When you encounter people who are different from you, don't judge them by how they look or act; instead base your opinion on the contents of their heart.

6. When someone breaks your heart, it teaches you that loving someone does not always mean that person will love you back. But don't turn your back on love because when you find the right person, the joy that one person brings will make up for all the past hurts put together.

7. When someone holds a grudge against you, it teaches you that everyone makes mistakes. When you are wronged, the most virtuous thing you can do is forgive the offender without pretense. Forgiving those who have hurt us is the most difficult and courageous thing Man can do.

8. When a loved one is unfaithful to you, it teaches you that resisting temptation is Man's greatest challenge. Be vigilant in your resistance against all temptation. By doing so you will be rewarded with an enduring sense of satisfaction far greater than the temporary pleasure by which you were tempted.

9. When someone cheats you, it teaches you that greed is the root of all evil. Aspire to make your dreams come true, no matter how lofty they may be. Do not feel guilty about your success, but never let an obsession with achieving your goals lead you to engage in malevolent activities.

10. When someone ridicules you, it teaches you that nobody is perfect. Accept people for their merits and be tolerant of their flaws. Do not ever reject someone for imperfections over which they have no control. Upon hearing the Lord's wisdom, the old woman became concerned that there were no lessons to be learned from Man's good deeds. God replied that Man's capacity to love is the greatest gift he has. At the root of all kindness is love, and each act of love also teaches us a lesson.

11. When someone loves us it teaches us that love, kindness, charity, honesty, humility, forgiveness and acceptance can counteract all the evil n the world. For every good deed, there is one less evil deed. Man alone has the power to control the balance between good and evil, but because the lessons of love are not
taught often enough, the power is too often abused.

12. When you enter someone's life, whether by plan, chance or coincidence, consider what your lesson will be reality?

13. When you die will your life have resulted in more loving or hurting? More comfort or pain? More joy or sadness? Each one of us has power over the balance of love in the world. Use it wisely. Don't miss an opportunity to nudge the world's scale in the right direction.
